Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of SofTyBOT (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Discord bot SofTyBOT.

1. Information We Collect

• Discord information: User ID, username, server ID, and any commands or messages you send to the Bot (as necessary to operate the Service).
• Epic Games credentials and account data: Login credentials (email/username, password, and any 2FA or session tokens you provide) and any account data retrieved from public Epic Games endpoints after login.
• Technical data: IP address, approximate location, device/browser information, and logs related to Bot usage.

We collect this information only when you voluntarily provide credentials or interact with the Bot.

2. How We Use Information

• To log into Epic Games accounts and retrieve/display account data.
• To store credentials so we can access and control the accounts as described in the Terms of Service.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Bot.
• To enforce our Terms and protect against abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Because we store login credentials, we (and anyone with access to our systems) can access and control the associated Epic Games accounts.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information:

• With service providers who help us operate the Bot (under confidentiality obligations).
• When required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• In connection with a business transfer (merger, sale, etc.).
• With your consent or at your direction.

Stored Epic Games credentials give us the ability to act on those accounts; we may use that access for any purpose consistent with the Terms of Service.

4. Data Retention

We retain stored credentials and associated data for as long as needed to provide the Service or until you request deletion (or we decide to delete them). Technical logs may be retained for a longer period for security and operational reasons.

5. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored credentials. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You acknowledge the inherent risks of providing third-party login credentials to any service.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights (including requesting deletion of stored credentials), contact us at softybotoff@gmail.com or via our support server: https://discord.gg/CUD9HgavuM. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, France, or similar jurisdictions, our legal bases for processing include consent (for credentials you provide) and legitimate interests (operating the Service).

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States, France, or other countries. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by law.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
